Turtle Technologies Ltd is committed to making the Platform accessible to everyone, including people with disabilities. We believe that access to employment opportunities should not be limited by a person's ability to use digital tools.
Our commitment
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA across the Platform. These guidelines are the internationally recognised standard for web accessibility and cover four principles: that content must be perceivable, operable, understandable, and robust.
What we have done
The Clearbridge Platform has been designed with accessibility in mind from the outset:
- Colour contrast — all text meets minimum contrast ratios for readability.
- Responsive design — the Platform works across all screen sizes, from mobile to desktop.
- Semantic HTML — we use meaningful HTML structure to support screen readers and assistive technologies.
- Keyboard navigation — core Platform features can be accessed without a mouse.
- Text alternatives — descriptive text is provided for non-text content where applicable.
- Clear language — we write in plain English, avoiding unnecessary jargon.
Known limitations
We are continuously working to improve accessibility across the Platform. Some areas may not yet fully meet WCAG 2.1 AA standards. If you encounter a barrier, please let us know and we will prioritise a fix.
Assistive technology
The Platform is designed to work with screen readers including JAWS, NVDA, and VoiceOver, and with keyboard-only navigation. If you experience difficulties with any assistive technology, please contact us.
Requesting accessible content
If you need any content on the Platform in an alternative accessible format — for example, large print, easy read, or audio format — please contact us and we will do our best to accommodate your request within 5 working days.
