Terms of Service

By accessing or using the Clearbridge platform (the "Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"), our Privacy Policy, Cookie Policy, and Community Guidelines. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not create an account or use the Platform. Your continued use of the Platform constitutes acceptance of any updates to these Terms.

1. Who can use the Platform

You must be at least 16 years old to use Clearbridge. By registering, you confirm that you have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement and that all information you provide is accurate, complete, and current. You are solely responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.

2. Your account

You must keep your login credentials confidential and must not share your account with any other person. You agree to notify us immediately at jobs@clearbridgetalent.co.uk if you become aware of any unauthorised use of your account. Clearbridge reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, with or without notice.

3. Candidate obligations

Candidates agree to:

  • Provide accurate and truthful information on their profile and in all applications.
  • Not misrepresent qualifications, experience, identity, or right to work in the UK.
  • Not submit applications for roles they have no genuine interest in.
  • Treat employers and other platform users with respect.

Misrepresentation of any kind is a serious breach of these Terms and may result in immediate account termination and reporting to relevant authorities.

4. Employer obligations

Employers agree to:

  • Post only genuine, lawful job opportunities.
  • Not post roles that discriminate unlawfully on the basis of age, disability, gender reassignment, marriage and civil partnership, pregnancy and maternity, race, religion or belief, sex, or sexual orientation under the Equality Act 2010.
  • Handle candidate personal data in accordance with UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.
  • Not use candidate data for any purpose other than the recruitment process for which it was submitted.
  • Pay all fees agreed with Clearbridge in accordance with the applicable payment terms.

5. Atlas AI

Atlas AI provides application scoring and candidate feedback as a tool to assist hiring decisions. All final hiring decisions rest with the employer. Clearbridge does not guarantee the accuracy of Atlas scores, that any candidate will be selected, or that any role will be filled. Atlas is designed to augment human judgment, not replace it.

Candidates have the right to request human review of any Atlas AI automated decision. To exercise this right, contact jobs@clearbridgetalent.co.uk.

6. Prohibited conduct

You must not use the Platform to:

  • Post false, misleading, or deceptive information.
  • Harass, abuse, threaten, or discriminate against any person.
  • Scrape, harvest, or extract data from the Platform by automated means.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Platform or its infrastructure.
  • Upload malicious code, viruses, or any software intended to damage or disrupt the Platform.
  • Use the Platform for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable law or regulation.
  • Impersonate any person or entity or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or entity.

7. Intellectual property

All content, design, code, trademarks, and technology on the Platform are owned by Turtle Technologies Ltd or its licensors and are protected by UK and international intellectual property law. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from any Platform content without our express prior written permission.

By uploading content to the Platform (including your CV, profile information, and messages), you grant Clearbridge a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to store, display, and process that content solely for the purpose of operating and improving the Platform. You retain ownership of all content you upload.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Turtle Technologies Ltd shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of the Platform, including but not limited to loss of profits, loss of data, or loss of business opportunity.

Our total aggregate liability to you in connection with these Terms shall not exceed the greater of (a) the total fees you have paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or (b) £100.

Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited by law.

9. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Turtle Technologies Ltd and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, judgments, awards, losses, costs, or expenses arising out of or relating to your violation of these Terms or your use of the Platform.

10. Termination

Either party may terminate the agreement formed by these Terms at any time. You may terminate by closing your account. We may terminate or suspend your account at any time if you breach these Terms, without prior notice or liability. Upon termination, your right to use the Platform ceases immediately.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or via a prominent notice on the Platform at least 14 days before they take effect. Your continued use of the Platform after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.

12. Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with them shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. You agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales to resolve any legal matter arising from these Terms.
